I take privilege to welcome you all to the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at PSIT, Kanpur. The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering came into being in the year 2004 and first batch of branch graduated in the year 2008. The department offers undergraduate course in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Like any other area of science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering is also going through rapid changes. In order to impart education in such an ever-changing area, a department needs to keep itself always updated through course curriculum, laboratories resources, technical training, soft skills training, reasoning/analytical skill training and most importantly faculty. We at PSIT are at the fore-front, as far as high quality engineering education is concerned. Our engineering, laboratory equipments and computer laboratories are well equipped with state-of- the-art facilities. Our curriculum goes through regular revisions to incorporate new developments in the industry for imparting the outcome based course contents and knowledge beyond syllabus.
We have a team of qualified, experienced & dedicated teaching faculty. Department is supported by equally dedicated qualified laboratory staff. Industry- Institute interaction in the form of industrial visits, student technical training, expert lectures and arranging of seminars & workshops are an integral part of our educational program.
We produce graduates students with the ability to apply knowledge of science, mathematics and engineering to design/development and conduct investigation of complex engineering problems. The department endows students with the ability of engineering knowledge, analytical skills, communication to work in multidisciplinary environments. Also provide leadership and technical expertise through a good blend of course work and projects and practice engineering with ethical approaches and concerns for society and environments.
